History of Peugeot
It is a French brand of cars, commercial vehicles and racing cars that operates from the beginning of the 19th century. It started as a company that manufactured coffee mills and bicycles, first creations of Jean-Pierre Peugeot who sat down since then as a guiding principle of brand innovation. Today, Peugeot (along with Citroen, brand purchased in 1974) is the second largest European manufacturer. Celebrated its bicentennial in 2010.
Beginning of Peugeot
The Peugeot journey started when the Patriarch of the family, Jean-Pierre Peugeot manufactured coffee, oil and textiles mills in his workshop in Doubs, France, business it bequeathed to her two sons, Jean-Pierre II and Jean-Fr?d?ric. In 1810 founded the society "Peugeot brothers" and manufacture saws, springs and umbrella frames.
