Chevrolet Cobalt: Get Your Remarkable Driving Experience
Chevrolet Cobalt - the name has been in focus for over two generations of front-wheel cars, which were sold under the Chevrolet marque. And, it’s one of the most iconic Chevy creations just like the Corvette.
With minor changes, it offers pleasant driving experience, but predominantly this is a driver’s car, made for the hard-core automotive enthusiasts. The rear is upgraded with a semi-independent torsion bar, whereas MacPherson struts are no longer seen in the front suspension.
Outsmarting the competitors, the wheelbase measures 103.3 inches, and it’s about 68.4 inches wide. The kerb weight of the coupe is around 2,681 lbs (1,216 kg), while the sedan weighs around 2,747 lbs.
In 2009, its EPA fuel economy figures improved to 24/34 MPG (city/highway) for automatic transmission and for manual transmission it was tested to be 26/37 mpg. The output by engine was also improved to 155 hp (116 kW).
