History of Skoda

Skoda Auto is the name of a former manufacturer of cars, nothing less than one of the four oldest in the world. Currently it is part of the Volkswagen Group, which ensures the high reliability of its vehicles. In addition this Czech brand cars have excellent value for money. As official logo, it has a green winged arrow in a circle.

Beginning of Skoda

The history of Skoda began in 1895, when the riders fans V?clav Laurin and V?clav Klement decided to open a simple workshop of repair and manufacture of bicycles in the city of Mlad? Boleslav, Prague. The first products of this small business bearing the name of "Slavia". The first motorcycle was launched in 1999, and then is were manufacturing more models that had a great success, being exported to England. Skoda continues

In these times it was an alliance with Roudnice Company. Finally, in 1925 merged with the industrial group Skoda Pilsen looking for a powerful partner, and the brand is no longer called Laurin & Klement definitely. After the crisis of 1929, the branch dedicated to manufacture automobiles recovers thanks to the launch of Skoda 420 Popular tourism.
