Two of the world's major automotive manufacturers plan to reduce the number of platforms for the respective ranges. According to Automotive News Europe, BMW and Mercedes-Benz site soon adopt such a policy in order to lower their costs.
The Mercedes-Benz would be working on developing a new SUV, which would be positioned below the newly presented GLA (above). According to information from the British magazine Auto Express, the Class X would be even lower than the GLA.
McLaren is preparing a model to fill the gap between the P1 (pictured above) and the MP4-12C, according to rumors circulating the sites. The model is still far from becoming reality but it would cost about 400 thousand pounds when released.
