Hyundai's advertising campaign linked to the performance of the Brazilian National Team in the 2014 World Cup angered Volkswagen, official sponsor of the team. The German automaker said it has contacted the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) for clarification.
Volkswagen is considering dropping the plans to launch a low-cost brand in emerging markets, as previously forecast. According to Autocar website, the German company was having trouble balancing the quality of new vehicles with reduced prices.
Nissan revealed on Wednesday (12) that the Leaf was the best-selling electric vehicle in Europe during the year 2013. During the period, 11,120 units, almost double the 2012 result (5,600 copies) was traded.
