Alfa Romeo will launch seven models by 2018

Alfa Romeo is back with full force in the automotive scenario in the coming years. According to Automotive News site information and the German magazine Auto Bild, besides the already confirmed Spider 4C 2015, Alfa Romeo plans to introduce no less than seven models by 2018.

In 2016 the brand belonging to the Fiat Group to launch the Spider model will share its platform with the next-generation Mazda MX-5 Miata. Next up are the sedan and wagon versions of the Alfa Romeo Giulia in 2017, and the Alfetta within a year.

The Italian brand is also working on a crossover scheduled for 2017 and a larger SUV, probably in 2018. These models use the new Giorgio (rear-wheel drive and all wheel drive) platform.

Official details will be announced on May 6, when Fiat will introduce a new industrial plan, including planned investments and all models that the group will launch.
