Audi RS1 rule does not throw

Launched at the Geneva show this year, S1 and S1 Sportback 2014 models can make an even more powerful brother, the RS1. In an interview with Motoring, Frank Gruner, Audi designer responsible for the car, when asked about the possibility of an even stronger version of the project, practically confirmed the possibility.

"Wait and see," said Gruner, delivering news that should arrive soon, though without specifying what they were. The S1 and S1 Sportback are equipped with 2.0 TFSI engine, four-cylinder that generates 231 horsepower and 37.73 lb-ft of torque, in addition to its standard quattro all wheel drive system and top speed of 250 km / h.

The cars were launched yet alloy wheels with 17 inch tires 215/40 R17 or 18-inch tires and 225/35 R18, fa?ris xenon plus, LED taillights, front disc brakes of 310 mm and with calipers painted in red color with the logo version, and optional quattro styling packages for both the interior and abroad.

If confirmed, the RS1 still have more power than the versions already launched and could use a stronger variant of its engine, but has little room under the hood to house a power plant larger.
