BMW wants to bring ads to your car

The ads are everywhere and often, the car is a refuge to escape the numerous advertisements that come to us. But that could soon change, now that BMW is working on a project called "virtual marketplace of the future" (Virtual marketplace of the future), in partnership with SAP, software developer.

BMW wants to combine its information services based on the location and the needs of the individual user preferences. "In our vision for a virtual market of the future, the carrier will offer customers and offers relevant and timely information to their routes and preferences," said Dr. J?rg Prei?inger, Project Manager at BMW Group Research and Technology.

In other words, future cars BMW will display ads tailored to the user and its route. To achieve this, SAP has developed a solution for virtual market-based clouds, while the German manufacturer has developed a prototype system in the car to get information and services from this market to the customer.

"At the same time, vehicle data in real time are used to predict the needs of drivers during the course of the journey," said the statement from BMW.
