BMW will release wheels carbon fiber

BMW is working on developing wheels made 100% carbon fiber. The information was revealed by Auto Express site, which also mentioned the deadline for the arrival of new to market: in two years.

Franz Storkenmaier, Product Manager Light Weight, revealed that the wheels are carbon fiber 35% lighter than conventional aluminum wheels. Creating hybrid wheels with mixed aluminum and carbon fiber, resulting in a weight 25% lower than conventional is also provided.
