BMW X2 may launch in 2017
BMW plans to launch X2 utility in 2017. According to the Australian website News Drive, the second generation of X1 (pictured), scheduled to hit the market between late 2014 and early 2015 will be lower than the current one, just to open a loophole for input X2 in the range.
Basically, the X2 will be a derivation of X1 with sporty profile. Therefore, the engines of the new model will be the same of the second generation X1, including three-and four-cylinder options, petrol and diesel, ranging between 1.5 and 2.0. The transmission is six-speed manual, with optional automatic transmission eight gears. Versions "M" will also be launched.
