Chevrolet conducts recall of Agile and Classic models

General Motors of Brazil announced on the morning of Thursday, 6, a statement calling the owners of the models and Chevrolet Agile Chevrolet Classic, manufactured between October 11, 2013 and November 15, 2013, to recall.

The call, which involves 5,325 units 2014, with 2,405 units and 2,920 of Agile Classic, is related to a failure in the rear hub bearing wheels. According to the manufacturer, there was excessive tightening torque on the wheel hub, which can cause overheating of the bearing nut.

Thus, there is the risk of catching or loosening the rear wheel, causing loss of vehicle control and collision and / or overturning. GM offers replacement hub bearing rear wheel and applying the correct torque in its locknut, with estimated time of one hour, free of charge, by appointment.

Chevrolet offers the Chevrolet phone 0800-702-4200 Relationship Center and its official website for inquiries and scheduling service.
