Citroen C4 presents Cactus
The production version of the Cactus C4 was revealed by Citroen on Wednesday (5). According to the brand, it is a "real alternative to traditional hatchbacks", focusing on design, comfort and cost savings for the owner.
The crossover remained fairly faithful to the Cactus concept, shown in 2013, entitled the Air Bumps, air capsules inserted in the side of the car, able to absorb small impacts and avoid the need for repairs. There are four colors available for the Air Bumps (beige, gray, brown and black).
The C4 Cactus uses Platform 1, the same C3 and Peugeot 208. The vehicle dimensions are: length 4.16 meters, 2.60 meters with a space between axles, 1.48 m high and 1.73 m wide. The total weight is 965 kg 200 kg less than the C4 hatch.
Inside, the front seats resemble a sofa. It is also noted a multimedia system with touch screen seven inch. At the rear, the trunk capacity is 358 liters.
Several engine options are available: 1.0 turbo three-cylinder (81 horsepower), e-THP (108 bhp), EHDI (91 hp) and BlueHDI (99 hp). With the most powerful of them, the C4 Cactus can reach a maximum speed of 190 km / h.
