Details of BMW performance line "input"
BMW started production of a new line of performance cars in 2013, in order to insert it between the models "M" and conventional. Now, Oliver Ganser, manager of Product Strategy of the brand in North America, gave details of the models in an interview with Automotive News.
The target audience of the new line, called M Performance Automobiles (MPA), is formed by successful young people. "They are ambassadors of the brand, showing enthusiasts that BMW has," said the leader.
In this context, fit into the utilities X5 and X6 M shown at Geneva last year, and M235i coupe (pictured), displayed on the last Frankfurt Motor Show in October.
