Fiat Panda Cross is novelty in Geneva

Fiat will present its new car, the Panda Cross, next month's Geneva Motor Show. The new model will have a more robust appearance from the Panda 4x4, with a new front, which will be coated with plastic and a protective plate in titanium color, same materials used in finishing the car.

The vehicle also brings changes in the taillights, adding larger roof bars, and alloy wheels of 15 inches with a dark titanium finish. Also have automatic climate control and the Blue & Me with steering wheel controls multimedia system.

The high suspension works in tandem with ESC (Electronic Stability Control) system with EDL (Electronic Differential Lock), four-wheel drive as standard function, and a selector that allows the driver to choose between three types of settings, Auto, Lock (four-wheel drive always active) and Hill Descent. According to Fiat Panda compared to 4x4, the Cross model has better approach and departure angles on 24 and 33 degrees, respectively.

The car will have two engine options 1.3 MultiJet II diesel with 79 horsepower and the 0.9 Twin Air, 89 hp, two-cylinder turbo petrol, and this with a specific 6-speed transmission, with the first downshifted.

Sales of the new Panda Cross will begin later this year in Europe.
