The organization of the World Car of The Year award - 2014 (Car of the Year - 2014) released the list of finalists in all categories evaluated. The winners will be announced in the next edition of the Hall of New York, whose opening happens at the end of March.

The jury, made up of a team of 69 specialist journalists from around the world, said 12 cars for the top prize instead of the traditional 10. The reason, according to the organization, was the record of many ties among the competitors.
