Focus tops list of best sellers in the world

Toyota remains on top of the ten largest global automakers in sales, followed by Volkswagen and Ford. But this last is the best selling model in the world, according to Jato Dynamics.

In ten list of best sellers, are two other American automaker. However, no model of Nissan (5th largest in sales) Kia, Fiat, and Renault (8th, 9th and 10th place, respectively) appear on the list.

The best selling model worldwide in 2013 was the Ford Focus, with over 1 million units. Over 60% of these sales occurred in China and U.S., the two largest markets for cars, followed by Japan and Brazil.

The Toyota Corolla was the second vehicle marketed in 2013 with over 895,925 units sold, 3.41% more than the previous year, followed by the Ford F-Series, which has sold 751,674 units in the year, amount 17.83% higher than in 2012.

Following appear the Hyundai Elantra, Chevrolet Cruze, Volkswagen Passat, Toyota Camry, Honda CR-V, Ford Fiesta and Honda Civic models.
