Foom presents electric vehicle and amphibian
The Japanese company Foom, presented its electric amphibious vehicle called the Concept One, which is considered as the smallest four-seater EV car in the world that floats and moves on water surface.
The company created the vehicle considering regions that suffer from flooding, especially in a country that suffered in 2011 with a very strong tsunami.
The Concept One is not fully amphibian, the floating capacity of the car is only a function of emergency. The car weighs just 460 pounds and is 1.30 wide and 1.5 high. Two electric motors on the front wheels, providing an output of 5 kW each and torque of 28.6.
The car has a set of motorcycle handlebars and also uses batteries Cassette, but their chemistry was not specified.
