Ford Increases Production of Super Duty pickups
Ford will increase the production capacity of pickup trucks F-Series Super Duty. The automaker will invest $ 80 million in its plant in Louisville, Kentucky. With the value, enhancements that will increase the local capacity by 15%, jumping to 55,000 vehicles per year will be made.
At the factory, fitted with the F-250, F-350, F-450 and F-550 pickups, plus utilities Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator. With the investment, also 350 direct jobs will be created at the site, which already has 4,000 employees today. The end of construction is scheduled for March.
