Hyundai introduced the new Sonata
Hyundai introduced officially in the new Sonata. Restyled, the sedan became very similar to the Genesis, more luxurious model of the brand.
Instead of striking features and profusion of creases, the Sonata earned more smooth and elegant lines. The car was clearly longer and wider, resulting in more space for occupants, according to Hyundai. Another change occurred in the torsional stiffness of the vehicle, which was elevated in 41% to deliver a "more dynamic" driving, in the words of the company.
The interior also left out the overly dramatic lines. Hyundai says it has improved the ergonomics in the cockpit and employee of superior quality materials. The list of standard features includes six airbags, bi-xenon headlights with daytime LED lights, ABS brakes with brake distribution (EBD), stability control (ESP) and traction (TCS), adaptive autopilot warning changing lanes, front seats with cooling and heating, electric blinds on the side windows and rear sound system with eight-inch touchscreen, USB and iPod inputs, Bluetooth and screen monitoring blind spots.
The model sold in the South Korean market will be offered in 2.0 CVVL engine (168 hp), 2.4 GDi (193 hp) and 2.0 LPi (this gas-powered with 151 hp). Two transmission options are offered: manual or automatic, both with six gears. His official presentation takes place at the New York in April, and the international debut will only happen in the second half.
