Jeep Renegade pictures are revealed

Circulating on the Internet since Sunday night (2) images of the new compact SUV from Jeep Renegade. The official presentation of the model will only happen on Tuesday (4), the first day of press conferences of the Geneva Motor Show, but some information about the model are well known.

The Renegade, whose design was conceived in the United States, will be produced in Italy, since as a result of the acquisition of Chrysler by Fiat. He will share platform with the 500X model of the Italian brand, but keep the top market position of the American brand, including the fact that there only be sold with all-wheel drive system.

Another feature of the Renegade will be the nine-speed automatic transmission, recently launched by Chrysler Group. It will also have multimedia system with 5 or 6.5 inch screen, varying according to the chosen version.

What is already certain: the Jeep Renegade is one of the models to be produced at the new plant of Fiat in Brazil, which is being erected in the city of Goi?s, Pernambuco.
