Lexus wants to hit the track with RC F GT3 concept

The Lexus brand wants to establish itself as engaged in motoring and as sample also revealed during the Geneva Motor RC F GT3 concept. The model already meets all the requirements of the International Automobile Federation (FIA) categories to compete in GT3.

The car is 4.70 meters long with 2.73 m space between axles, 2.00 m wide and 1.27 m high. The total weight is 1.270kg. In terms of powertrain, the RC concept F GT3 is equipped with a V8 of 540 horsepower on gasoline.

Tests with a production version of the F RC GT3 will start already in 2014, and the goal of assembler is to provide some examples for teams entered in the 2015 edition of evidence as the 24 Hours of Nurburgring and the Japanese Super GT championship.
