Mazda is not going to let out the car with rotor engines

Head of Mazda of Masamichi Kogay say that for the company return to rotor engines is almost impossible.

In interview to the Automotive News edition Masamichi Kogay told that "Mazda" does not plan to let out new models with rotor engines - they simply will not pay off. As he explained to make possible start of the new rotor engine, it should appear on model which will be on sale by at least 100 thousand copies a year.

Let's note that earlier representatives of Mazda said that «the company diligent works over models for new generation of the rotor engine». However, Kogay noted what completely to throw this direction is not planned - rotor engines can work at the most different fuel, including petrol, hydrogen and kerosene.
