McLaren may terminate production of the MP4-12C

Although McLaren have insisted that their new model 650S , presented at the Geneva Motor Show , would join its line not as a substitute for the MP4-12C, there is little room for coexistence.

Keep both models at the same time would be like if Ferrari California offer both the old and the new California T (or 360 Modena and F430) simultaneously.

According to Autoblog site, reports from the UK indicate that while McLaren 12C continue offering customers who make orders, the company actually stopped producing the older and less expensive version at the moment, in order to accelerate the pace of production model 650S.

According to website information Piston Heads, the new entry model of the McLaren P13 called for now, will cost about 130,000 euros and will go on sale next year.
