New generation Audi R8 will maintain the current engines

The Audi should not promote changes in motorization of the next generation R8 options. According to several European sites, the German automaker will continue using the blocks 4.2 V8 and 5.2 V10 from the current model (pictured), but the setting will stir both for more power.

Before, was considering the use of the new 4.0 V8 biturbo engine (560 horsepower) next R8, but the brand would come to the conclusion that cooling it would be prejudiced by the central positioning of the engine R8.

Remember that the Audi postponed the launch in a few months the new generation of R8 before expected in mid-2014, but now scheduled for early 2015.
