New VW Scirocco can earn superesportiva RS version, says magazine

Volkswagen recently introduced the new Scirocco , during the Geneva Motor Show , but new details are starting to emerge about the next-generation model.

According to the revised CAR Magazine, Volkswagen is considering two different proposals for the car. One could be the model become a Golf coupe, while the other would position the car as a sportier model, distanced Golf. Internal sources are also indicating that the distinctive style could be alleviated.

The style settings can not conquer all, but the engines could, since the rumors include blocks 2.0 turbo four-cylinder engine with power of 227 hp, 300 hp and 330 hp. It is also expected a variety of less popular engines, including a 1.4-liter with 123 hp a 1.8-liter with 178 hp and diesel versions 2.0 of 148 hp and 182 hp.

No official information has been revealed by Volkswagen on the next generation model, but speculation suggests it could arrive by 2017.
