As reported the British AutoCar edition referring to the vice-president of Nissan concern for design Shiro Nakamura, new updating of Almera in a body "hatchback" will fill up a model range of brand in July of the next year. Production of a novelty will be adjusted at plant of Japanese concern in Barcelona (Spain).

According to the interlocutor of the edition, five-door hatchback was developed only for a car market of Europe.

The Nissan V platform becomes a basis of Nissan Almera hatcback, allegedly, and its motor scale will include both economic diesel motors, and petrol units.
