Nurburgring should be acquired by investor group
One of the most popular automotive-automobile complex planet is about to change hands. According to Reuters, Nurbugring will be sold to group of investors for an estimated between EUR 65 and 70 million amount.
Part of the business the company HIG Capital (United States) and investors Meyrick Cox (UK) and Markus Graf-Sierstorpff Oeynhausen (Germany). Most of the complex should stay with HIG Capital, including the small and traditional Nordschleife circuit in addition to the space hotel and amusement park.
Jens Lieser, current administrator responsible for Nurburgring, told the newspaper Wirtschaftswoche that the deal has not been closed, but it is quite advanced.
