Renault confirms Twingo engine

It's been a few weeks that Renault has revealed the first images and information about the new generation Twingo. But only now, on the first day of press coverage of the Geneva Motor Show, the French car maker has confirmed the engine options available for the compact and revealed internal photos.

One of the blocks will be the naturally aspirated 1.0, which delivers 70 horsepower and 9.3 lb.-ft. of torque. With slightly higher performance, can also be chosen the 0.9 turbo, offering 90 bhp and 13.8 Nm. In both cases the exchange is five-speed manual, rear-wheel drive.
