Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe launch Bespoke Waterspeed

Rolls-Royce announced plans to offer a limited edition called Phantom Drophead Coupe Waterspeed Bespoke Collection. The production model will be limited to 35 units.

Designed to honor the record in water, obtained by Malcolm Campbell in 1937, the Collection has Waterspeed Maggiore Blue exterior color with detailing in brushed steel. Furthermore, the model will feature wood accents, referring to gifts ornaments on boats.

"I'm very flattered by the fact that Rolls-Royce has chosen ironic boat our grandfather as inspiration for this collection. I'm sure he [Malcolm] would be very proud to see his name associated with this brand 75 years after his record, "said Donald Wales, grandson of Malcolm.
