Sao Paulo has a car for every two inhabitants
The city of S?o Paulo came to a car for every two inhabitants of their brand. The information was obtained from a survey conducted by the site G1, taking into account the data of the State Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV-SP).
At the end of 2013, the city had 5,442,562 cars, while the current approximate number of inhabitants is 11.8 million. Last year alone, 130,412 new cars were registered highest number since 2010 (140,472). Compared to 2012 (102.021), the increase was significant.
Finally, taking into account the other vehicles like bikes, trucks and buses, the total fleet of the city reaches 7.6 million units.
