Studiotorino presents Moncenisio
The Studiotorino, small Italian coachbuilder company, presented its latest creation, the Moncenisio. This is an exclusive model, produced to order, based on the Porsche Cayman S.
The name is a tribute to racing Susa-Moncenisio, evidence of rising quite popular mountain in Italy. The model was presented at the National Automobile Museum in Turin last March 21.
Producing only 19 cars, each sold from 145 billion EUR is envisaged. The originhal Cayman, only the inner panels are kept. Chassis, body, engine and other mechanical systems are modified.
The shape of Moncenisio is inspired by the Porsche 904 of 1963, the sport received pieces of carbon fiber that replaces the front bumper, rear and side panels. The project also looks pretty with a Cayman, but with the top of the hood and extended support pillars. The rear features a new treatment for exhaust and spoiler.
The interior gets leather upholstery in the sharing of the engine cover, the partition between the engine and seats.
