SUV from Aston Martin must have the Mercedes-Benz GL platform
The Aston Martin is planning to launch a production version of the Lagonda SUV concept (pictured), originally shown at the Geneva Motorshow 2009. According to Autocar website, the utility of the British manufacturer will use the same platform as the Mercedes-Benz GL.
Confirmation Dieter Zetsche would party, chairman of Daimler and head of Mercedes-Benz Cars. The SUV, expected to launch in 2017, would be a response to market demand, which led to other brands such as Bentley, Lamborghini and Rolls-Royce, to screen the production of models in this segment.
