The premiere of new MINI passed on the historical homeland of a brand
On November 18 the world debut of the new MINI car at MINI plant in Oxford (Great Britain) took place. Release of new model became possible thanking 750 million the pounds sterling, invested in production BMW Group. This sum was necessary for ensuring technological process production in Swindon, creations of 1000 robots in Oxford and absolutely new places for assembly of three - and four-cylinder engines of the following generation at plant near Birmingham.
The prime minister of the United Kingdom David Cameron saw process by the eyes a month before official start: "I was happy to learn, what will be new British classics of MINI. These investments will allow to keep 5500 workplaces, so - these are excellent news to local economy and the enterprises".
