UK: Jaguar Land Rover New plant will employ 1400
The construction of the new engine plant of Jaguar Land Rover in the UK following the planned pace. Located in the city of Wolverhampton, the plant, which occupies an area equivalent to 14 football fields, will ride his first block in 2015.
The manufacture of aluminum four-cylinder (gasoline and diesel) engines is planned. For this, 1,400 employees will be hired, contingent that will allow JLR to meet the goal of assembling a block every 36 seconds.
The engines will debut in the new Jaguar sedan entry, hitherto called XS. Future also come to Land Rover models, as Freelander and Range Rover Evoque.
