USA: Honda Accord Toyota Camry surpasses in direct sales

Honda revealed on Monday (24) that the Accord sedan topped the Toyota Camry in direct sales (individuals) in the North American market in 2013. According to the automaker, 360,089 units of the model were sold during the past year.

The Camry, on the other hand, was 342 007 units sold directly to the consumers during the period. But, if taken into account the specimens traded in the corporate environment, the number jumps to 408,484 units, still higher than the Accord.

Another fact that stands out compared to the sedan from Honda is that, according to studies of ALG, Kelley Blue Book and other companies in the industry, the Accord is the model with the highest resale value in its class, while the Camry does not figure Top-3 in the lists.
