USA: New Jersey bans direct sales Tesla
Tesla Motors suffered a blow in its expansion in the United States. The government of New Jersey instituted a ban on all automakers, sealing the direct sales of vehicles in the state. The measure directly affects the maker of electric cars, that does not outsource the marketing of the Model S through franchises.
This ban was already in place in two other U.S. regions: Arizona and Texas. According to the spokesman of the government of New Jersey, Tesla was already aware of the proposal when it began operating in the state a year ago, and knew I needed to adjust to the new legislation. Moreover, the automaker says that the governor Chris Christie was in January, agreed to take the matter to the local council, where he would be popularly reported.
