Volvo do Brazil announces new president

Volvo Cars of Brazil announced on Monday (27) that the economist Luis Rao assumed the presidency of the company. He belongs to the staff of the automaker since 2008, when he became CFO of Volvo for Brazil and Latin America, but since the end of last year, already occupied the post of interim president.

"Luis brings extensive experience in marketing and brand awareness. This combination of skills makes us believe that we are prepared to succeed in the competitive Brazilian market," said Thomas Anderson, global vice president of Marketing, Sales and Service at Volvo Cars.
