VW test mule of the new Tiguan

VW test mule of the new Tiguan

Volkswagen is already preparing the arrival of the new Tiguan, but it will be almost impossible to see it in European streets. That's because the brand chose "hide it" the mule of a Touran minivan.

Some details indicate that this vehicle is not a Touran. Besides being slightly shorter than the minivan, the suspension is slightly higher and the car has larger wheels.

With launch scheduled for 2015, the new Tiguan will use the MQB platform, used in various Volkswagen Group models such as the Audi A3 and Volkswagen Golf and Beetle. Although it has a wheelbase longer than its predecessor, the Tiguan will continue carrying five passengers - the responsibility of carrying seven people will be based on the VW SUV Concept CrossBlue. The Tiguan will be sold with front-or all-wheel drive and has the same range of engines from the Golf.
