Cadillac CTS: Change the Look Of Your Car Today
CTS entered the medium-size luxury car segment in 2002, sporting a fully independent suspension and RWD sigma platform. Being developed by General Motors’ Cadillac division, it has been counted one amongst the best vehicles in top ten sports car segment.
It was offered in 3 body styles: five-door sports wagon, two-door coupe, and four-door sedan. It replaced the brand’s Catera model when it entered the market in 2002. CTS along with supercharged version, CTS-Vhave won Car and Driver’s best top ten vehicles list for 3 years continuously.
The exterior design of the 1st generation model was crafted by Kip Wasenko and Wayne Cherry and it marked the debut of ‘Art & Science’ concept, which was initially seen on Evoq edition. Robin Krieg and Bob Boniface took in charge of the exterior design of the 3rd generation CTS edition.
The new version of CTS was released on Mar 26, 2013 and it is equipped with a 2.0T I4 engine. ATS’s3.6-liter Twin Turbo engine was also introduced that delivered 420hp and torsion of about 430 lb-ft; this power-train was offered in the CTS V-sport edition only.
