Chevrolet Spark also called as Daewoo Matiz is produced by General Motors(an American manufacturer), developed by the South Korean body GM Korea. Earlier since 1998, it was called as Daewoo Motors and then was replaced to Daewoo Tico.

The Chevrolet storyline

In 2002, the company General Motors took over the Daewoo Motors and was increasingly marketed under Chevrolet badge. It was available in 5 door hatchback. Model from second generation was debuted in the year 2005 and the launch of third generation took place in 2010.

In 2013, an electric version of this car that is Chevrolet Spark EV released in selected markets mostly in Oregon and California in U.S.Spark EV is known as the first electric passenger vehicle marketed by GM after EV1 discontinued in the year 1999.
