Chevy Tahoe is a full-size sport utility vehicle introduced by General Motors. GMC and Chevrolet had sold 2 different SUVs - Jimmy and Blazer in the early 90’s. Later on, GMC introduced Yukon in the year 1992 as Jimmy. After 3 years, Chevy re-badged the midsize S10 as the Chevrolet Blazer.
Yukon and Tahoe were introduced as 4-door model with a longer wheelbase and decent passenger capacity. With room for almost 9 passengers, lots of amenities, and V8 engine, Tahoe has always been an ideal choice for the large American families.
GMC Yukon and Chevy Tahoe are 2 full-size SUVs from General Motors. You can also see lengthened models like Yukon XL for GMC and Suburban for Chevrolet. Later, Denali with luxury amenities joined the lineup in the year 1998. However, Tahoe remains the modest choice, especially for the ones who require additional towing capability.
The current generation Tahoe was introduced in the year 2007 with a few convincing improvements with respect to the interior design, drivability, build quality, and materials used.
