Fiat Fiorino: The User’s Review
Fiat Fiorino is a light weight commercial vehicle manufactured in the year 1977 for the first time and was in existence till 2000. Later, the company re-started the production in the year 2007.
The first and second generation vehicles were produced by Fiat in between 1977 and 2007. The first two generations are van derivatives of other compact models across the range like Fiat Uno and Fiat 127. The third generation was models produced jointly with Peugeot Citro?n and it was based on Fiat Small.
The present generation, Sevel LAV is built with passenger body style. On the other hand, Fiat Qubo is marketed along with the company’s rebadged versions, Peugeot Bipper and Citroen Nemo. Qubo is placed below Doblo. The name comes from Old Italian coin, which is normally translated into English as Florino.
The latest version of Fiorino is based on Series 2 – Fiat 127 and it measures 1.3 meters tall with “high- cube” design, in which the whole arrangement is emulated by many European auto-makers.
Florino was launched in the year 1997 – November. It has got the same engine configuration that you see in Fiat 127. The 1st generation – Florino was assembled in the Minas Gerais plant, Cordoba Argentina and Brazil plant. The pickup version is also known as Fiat 147 City.
