Fiat Qubo: The Spacious City Car
The 3rd generation Fiat Fiorino was unveiled in the year 2007 and it went on sale in the year 2008. The vehicle shares its bodywork and architecture with Peugeot Bipper and Citro?n Nemo. Fiorino was built in Bursa by Tofas, and they were produced in both passenger body styles. The company also retails the passenger models as Fiat Qubo, with the Fiorino name designated as commercial panel van models.
Fiorino is completely based on Fiat Grande Punto and the total wheelbase is 98.9 inches (2513 mm). The company also launched their passenger carrying equivalent at the Geneva Motor Show held in the year 2008 and branded as Fiat Quba.
The derivative model, the passenger version of Fiorino, was unveiled in June 2008. This particular passenger version is pretty much suitable for 5 people and it can be equipped with different power-train options, including a 1.3-liter Multijet diesel engine or a 1.4-liter petrol engine that can deliver 72 hp. The power-train is coupled to a 5-speed auto or 5-speed manual transmission. In other countries, the car is simply retailed as “Florino”.
