Ford Ka: Getting The Best Deal
Ford Motor Company manufactures the city car Ford Ka since 1996. 2008, was when the Ford entered its second generation. This series was produced in Tychy, Poland, by Fiat. The first phase, however, is promoted in Latin America and is built in Brazil. The body style is a triple door hatchback, in both its generations. In fact, even the first generation makes had a three-door version that was convertible. That was the StrretKa and the sportier version is the SportsKa.
Pronunciation of KA
There was a lot over the way KA was pronounced. Some said the long “a” version while some used the short “a” version. Even separately the letters were read. Ford’s press agency used three of them. It was the Auto Trader, Ford’s “top brass”, who gave the insight to the actual pronunciation. It is “Ca as in Cat”.
In 2006, there were two commercial advertisements that were considered as controversial. The first one on Sportska showed a flying pigeon that was shattered and murdered by the bonnet of the car. The second advertisement showed how the sunroof of the car had beheaded a cat. These were immediately banned.
