Kia Cerato: Is This The Car You Need?
It replicated the Shuma hatchback and Mentor/Sephia saloon. When it was launched for the model of 2004 year, the ‘Spectra’ name was utilized in the North America along with the presence of the ‘Spectra5’ as a designated hatchback. The Kia Cerato was replicated by the Kia Cee’s in the Europe.
In late 2008, the Kia Cerato was introduced in the South Korea, it was considered as a second generation model beneath the Kia Forte name. The name ‘Kia Forte’ was utilized in many markets around the globe. The ‘Kia Cerato’ name has been preserved in a few of the market like Brazil, South Africa and Australia. The second generation model is designated as a ‘Kia Cerato Forte’ in Singapore.
What did Kia Motors reveal
The Kia motors revealed the next generation Kia Cerato as a Korean market Kia K3 in July 2012. The car sold in the USA as Forte, comes in the mid of 2013. A five door and coupe hatchback will be made public later on. In South Korea, the new Kia Cerato will be manufactured at Kia’s Hwasung Plant.
