Kia Forte: The Car For Everyone
Kia Forte was produced by Kia Motors in the year 2008. It is available in 2-door coupe and rolled out as replacement to the Cerato. It is also available in 4-door sedan and 5-door hatchback variants. Forte is not available to European customers; instead of Forte, Kia offered another similar vehicle in form of Kia Ceed. In South Korean markets, it’s marketed as Kia K3.
In few countries, like Australia, Costa Rica, and Brazil, this particular model is marketed as Cerato. In Singapore and Colombia, Forte is also called Kia Cerato Forte; the vehicle was assembled by Naza of Malaysia since 2009, and sold under the name Naza Forte.
Kia released the second generation Forte images for the year 2012 at a time when the company released the Korean market counterpart- K3. The vehicle was completely redesigned with a wider, lower, aggressive, and longer stance.
2014 Kia Forte
2014 Kia Forte includes LED headlights, and tail lights as standard features. You can also see Kia’s driver oriented cock-pit design inside the vehicle.
In order to make the vehicle more fuel efficient, Forte is offered with a 1.8 L DOHC engine that produces 148 HP with total torsion of about 131 pound-feet. The 2.0 L GDI 4-cylinder engine can generate 173 HP with total torsion of around 154 pound-feet. This particular car was presented at the Santiago Motor show as Kia Cerato on October 3, 2012.
