Maserati GranTurismo: The Technical Specifications
Maserati Gran Turismo is a 2-door four passenger coupe manufactured by Maserati. This particular vehicle shares its platform with the Maserati Quattroporte V.
After replacing both GranTurismo S Automatica and GranTurismo S, Granturismo Sport was unveiled in March 2012 at the Geneva Auto Show. The manufacturer revised the 4.7L engine that generated 454 hp, and the sport version was rolled out with a unique front fascia, new steering wheel, new headlights, and sport seats.
The powerful 4.7L engine is teamed to a standard ZF 6-speed auto transmission, while the other 6-speed sequential transaxle is available as optional transmission. The latter version has paddle shifters mounted on steering wheel, and optional automatic gearbox.
GranTurismo is one of the most coveted sports coupe in the world, and the sound of Maserati Gran turismo S exhaust can simply turn on any hardcore automotive enthusiast to say the least.
