Mitsubishi Colt: The Success Of Practicality
The Mitsubishi Colt is a lesser-known vehicle from the house of Mitsubishi Motors and was introduced in the year 1960. It is the export version of the Mitsubishi Mirage- the subcompact that was developed for the first time in the year 1978 and sold until 2002. Mitsubishi is a long-time partner of Dodge, and this particular name was used to rebadge the Mitsubishi vehicles as Dodge imports for North American markets in between 1970 and 1994.
The recent version of a subcompact model manufactured between 2002 and 2012 was sold under Colt label all around the world. The company has replaced this particular series in the year 2012 with a new generation that reverted to Mirage name.
In addition to the smaller cars, Colt in the Mitsubishi family refers to the several unrelated vehicles of different forms. The name is also seceded from Mitsubishi as an independent label in several other markets.
Other power-train choices include 1.1 Liter engine, 1.3 Liter engine, and a 2-wheel drive or 4-wheel drive INVECS-III engine with a CVT transmission. The 1.5 C model includes a 1.5 Liter engine that comes with a five-speed manual transmission and two-wheel drive.
