Nissan Cube: Drive The Coolest Car Today
Nissan, the Japanese car maker unveiled the Nissan Cube, a mini MPV in 1998 for the very first time. The car has been in production and active distribution all along in Japan and was introduced for the first time out of Japan in 2009 in North America and Europe. The name says ‘cube’ but irregular hexagonal is what is precisely the shape of the vehicle.
The Cube’s first generation of code Z10 was initialed rolled out in 1998. The Cube shared the same engine (1.3L) and platform with the Nissan Micra (widely known as the March in Southeast Asia and Japan). Back then the four-wheel drive and the CVT gearbox were optional.
The wide chasm between the Sunny and March is bridged by the Nissan. Even though the first generation was marketed and distributed only in Japan, it was exported to Hong Kong, United Kingdom and Australia privately.
