Peugeot 208 Hybrid FE: Hybrids Are Perfect

The information concerning Peugeot 208 Hybrid FE has been unveiled. The car will get a developed diffuser, cameras instead of mirrors and 19-inch wheels. The company’s designers tried to make the car’s exterior look more glamorous. The car is also economical, sporty and quite efficient. The date of its release has not been announced yet.

According to the images of the car, it will be equipped with the five-box robotic transmission, a 30-kilowatt electric motor and a 1.2-liter engine. Its weight is about 775 kg. It accelerates up to 100 km / h in 8 sec. Using the electric mode, it can reach up to 19 km. With the help of petrol engine activation, its figure can be much higher. There is the serial gas tank of 50 liters available.

The new model’s body and chassis are made of lightweight materials. Several innovative suspension options are available, including the following: wishbones, coil springs and stabilizer bars which are made of plastic and fiber glass.

The average consumption of fuel is much lower - 2.1 l/100 km, while emissions of carbon dioxide are 49 g / km level. The car will be represented at the Motor Show which will take place in Frankfurt.
